Individually and as a couple, these two make whoever is with them feel like a million bucks. So to be able to capture their wedding was truly a gift.

Due to Covid-19, these two had to change their plans more than any other couple I worked with. From having to cut down their guest list multiple times to having to find a new venue just weeks before their wedding, they were forced to improvise and make big decisions with little time to think. It would have made sense for them to be frustrated, but again and again, they welcomed the day as it was with grace and gratitude.

They ended up getting married on the property of close friends, complete with a four-wheeler and horses. They shared an intimate first-look where they read their vows to each other privately by the river, in which I got to stand in to capture the moment. I welcomed the cool water since it was a balmy 107 degrees! After that, they gathered with their best friends and close family members for a ceremony in the yard. My eyes were filled with tears multiple times just from how deep their love for each other and their communities was.

Following the ceremony was an epic reception. These people sure know how to celebrate!!! The bridesmaids had a choreographed dance, and the DJ led everyone in the dance done at every Whitworth basketball game half-time.

This wedding reminded us that no matter what, love wins.

There will be time in life to mourn, there will be time in life to celebrate, and there will be holy moments of life where we simultaneously mourn and celebrate– the dance of life. Thank you HR & Ryan for allowing me to witness your love becoming eternal. I will be your fans forever!
